We are growing our team!
Over the coming weeks and months, Working It Out is hoping to add the following people to our team:
- Aged Care Promotions Coordinator (Temporary Part-Time)
- Community Garden Project Facilitator (Temporary Casual)
Both roles have potential for growth/extension, depending on factors like funding and whether the successful candidate is a good fit.
- Aged Care Promotions Coordinator (Temporary Part-Time)
This role will primarily be responsible for promotion of our Rainbow Connections aged care volunteer visitor initiative, and our Silver Rainbow aged care sector training.
The right candidate will be action-driven, have a proactive and positive attitude to problem solving, and be able to work autonomously.
Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Communications is essential.
Connections, knowledge and experience of the Aged Care sector is desired but not essential.
Hours per week: 0.35 FTE until June 30, 2026.
Remuneration: SCHADS Level 5.1 - $51 per hour plus superannuation
- Community Garden Project Facilitator (Temporary Casual)
The Community Garden Project Facilitator will run our upcoming weekly ‘Out in the Garden’ project, an LGBTIQA+ gardening club run in partnership with the West Moonah Neighbourhood House.
The right candidate will have experience in gardening and volunteer management/group facilitation/adult learning.
Knowledge and understanding of the alcohol and other drugs sector would be beneficial, but is not essential. People who are LGBTIQA+ and/or who have lived or living experience of AOD use are encouraged to apply.
Hours per week: Fridays (5pm – 8:30pm), with 1 Saturday in January 2026. This role is seasonal, with this round commencing mid-November, ending late March 2026.
Remuneration: SCHADS Level 3.1 - $48.31 per hour base rate, weekend penalties, plus superannuation.
