IDAHOBIT Afternoon Tea – Burnie

17 May @ 1:30 pm 3:00 pm

IDAHOBIT is an international day against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination, marked on May 17th as the anniversary of the day that homosexuality was removed from the WHO Classification of Diseases.
We will mark this day with a community afternoon tea, an opportunity for those locals who are part of the LGBTQIA+ communities, their friends, families and allies to come together, find community and talk about the issues that many still face.
North West Pride is also launching the second series of their podcast Queer Life Stories (LGBTIQA+ Lived Experience stories) on this day. This is a project that Working It Out has supported and we’re excited to help celebrate the launch.
Please RSVP by emailing garry@workingitout.org.au or via SMS 0455 031 262 with your name/s and any dietary requirements.
Hope to see you there!
