DESCRIPTION:TASMANIA WIDE ONLINE GENDER SUPPORT GROUP \nWorking It Out’s statewide online Gender Support Group is on the third Tuesday of each month via Teams. From 5:45pm to 7pm. Contact ambrose@workingitout.org.au for the Teams link. \nHOBART GENDER PEER SUPPORT GROUP (IN PERSON) \nWorking It Out’s Hobart based in person Gender Peer Support Group occurs on the first Wednesday of each month at Criterion House 108 Bathurst St. Nipaluna/Hobart. \nDoors open 5:45pm for a 6pm start. The group goes until 7pm. SUMMARY:OUTspace Burnie (Ages 13-18)
DESCRIPTION:OUTspace is a peer support group for Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, Transgender\, Intersex and Queer+ (LGBTIQ+) young people\, and for young people who are not sure about their gender and/or sexuality. It’s an opportunity to meet\, hangout and learn from your community.\n \nOUTspace is a confidential group\, which means we can’t tell anyone that you’ve come to OUTspace without your permission. This also means that we don’t ‘out’ each other in public.\n \nWhat happens at OUTspace?\n\nIntroduce ourselves and our pronouns\nMake a group agreement so we can feel safer to participate\nHear about LGBTIQ+ news\, events and culture\nShare experiences and ask questions of each other\nGroup activities and games including theatre sports\, arts and crafts\nSpecial events and movie screenings\n\nIn Burnie the group will be facilitated by Garry from Working It Out\, will be meeting at the WIO office @ 29 Wilson St\, Burnie every fortnight\, 4-5:30pm \n~~~~~~~~\nPlease contact Garry in the NW for further information at Garry@workingitout.org.au or 0455 031 262.Check the Working It Out Facebook Page for details or contact WIO for more details at info@workingitout.org.au \nNote that this venue has level access and there are accessible toilets just outside the building. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n
