DESCRIPTION:Northern Suburbs After School Pride Group \n\n\n\nWe’re proud to announce a new program for young people in the northern suburbs of Hobart. \n\n\n\nWorking It Out @workingitoutinc \, Pulse Youth Health Service @pulse_yhs and Glenorchy City Council @glenorchycitycouncil are working together to host a free\, monthly after-school pride group. \n\n\n\nIf you’re 12-18 years old\, LGBTIQA+\, questioning or an ally\, come along to this drop-in program for a chance to meet new people and try activities like games\, arts & crafts\, sharing snacks or just hanging out. \n\n\n\nThe program will be held 3.30-5pm on the third Tuesday of the month in the Pulse art room\, on Level 1\, 404 Main Road Glenorchy\, one block north of the Glenorchy bus mall. \n\n\n\nFor more information call Pulse on 6166 1421.

DESCRIPTION:HOBART The Australian Greens Party are holding a LGBTIQA+ Pop Up Office & Free BBQ with Senator Nick McKim\, (Australian Greens LGBTIQA+ Spokesperson). They are inviting folks from our LGBTIQA+ community for an informal community catch up and free BBQ at Cornelian Bay Park on Saturday 22 November. \n\n\n\nWorking It Out are not aligned with any political party\, but we appreciate and applaud Nick consulting with our LGBTIQA+ community via an informal event we are all welcome to attend. If any other political parties or independents choose to hold a similar LGBTIQA+ community consultation event\, we will also be happy to help promote it too. \n\n\n\nNick has invited us to come along to share food\, stories\, and solidarity with LGBTIQA+ community. The BBQ is a chance to celebrate diversity\, connect with one another\, and chat with Senator Nick McKim\, the Australian Greens spokesperson for LGBTIQA+ issues. \n\n\n\nNick and the Greens team will be on the tongs\, serving up a free BBQ with halal\, vegan\, and gluten-free options available. \n\n\n\nBring your friends\, chosen family\, and pets – everyone’s welcome in this safe\, affirming\, and family-friendly space. \n\n\n\nNick is looking forward to seeing you there!
