Nominate Inclusive Health Practitioners for our Tasmanian LGBTIQA+ Inclusive Health Practitioner Database
Expanding the LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Health Practitioners Database
A current focus for the LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Health Practitioners Database is increasing registrations from individual practitioners, rather than only listing practices. Individual practitioner profiles provide community members with more detailed and accurate information about the healthcare professionals they may be engaging with, helping people identify practitioners whose experience, approach and inclusive practice align with their needs.
To support this work, we have introduced a simple referral card featuring a QR code linking directly to a short practitioner registration form. Community members can share the card with healthcare professionals they already know and trust, creating an easy pathway for practitioners to join the database and demonstrate their commitment to providing safe and inclusive care.
If you have an inclusive GP, psychologist, allied health professional, specialist, or other healthcare provider whom you would like to see represented in the database, we encourage you to share a referral card (or digital flyer / or print our flyer) with them and invite them to register. Recommendations from community members play an important role in helping us identify trusted practitioners and continue growing the database.
You can pick up a nomination card or flyer from Working It Out Hobart (278 Argyle St, North Hobart) & Launceston (56 Cimitere Street, Launceston)
