Parker Tuckett (he/they)

Parker is a proud transgender person from North West Tasmania (Tommeginne Country, Lutruwita).

They are passionate about creating safer, more supportive environments for LGBTIQA+ people through education, awareness, and visibility. Alongside their work and volunteer contributions with Working It Out, Parker is actively involved in several state and national advisory groups, co-designing projects and contributing their insights to improve access, inclusion, and wellbeing within mental health and LGBTIQA+ sectors. Through this work, he uses lived experience to influence policy, service design, and youth advocacy. Education and visibility remain central to Parker's approach, as they believe understanding is key to reducing stigma and strengthening inclusion. They are committed to a future where all people feel empowered to be themselves and can access the support they need without fear of judgement.
