Working It Out's major annual fundraiser, the IDAHOBIT* Breakfast and Dorothies Awards will be held at 7am on Friday the 15th of May 2026 at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre Function Room, Bell St, New Town.

DOROTHIES AWARDS

Our annual Dorothies Awards will be presented at the IDAHOBIT breakfast event. This years theme is "Excellence in LGBTIQA+ Inclusion in Family Violence Services & Programs". Award Guidelines and Nomination Forms are available on our website https://www.workingitout.org.au/thedorothies/

* IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia), commemorates the day the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. IDAHOBIT is observed on the 17th of May (which is a Sunday) our event will be on Friday the 15th May
