North West Bay River Trail, Sandfly

Meet: 10.45am Sandfly Memorial Oval, 770 Sandfly Road, 22km/20mins from Hobart via Southern Outlet/A6 to Sandfly Road turnoff/C622.
Turn left and drive a further 200 metres to the oval entrance on the left where there’s ample parking.

Grade: Easy/Medium, 6km/3-4 hrs return. Enjoy a pretty walk through native bushland, waterholes and two river crossings. We’ll picnic beside the river and return by the same route. The Kingborough Council has declared the track as a “no dogs allowed” due to the abundance of wildlife.
