RAINBOW TICK HOW2
WIO is an accredited Rainbow Tick HOW2 provider.
The HOW2 program helps organisations to embed LGBTIQ+ inclusive practices within their workplace and services, creating lasting cultural change.
This small-group program is designed around the six national standards that make up the QIP Rainbow Tick
- Organisational capability
- Workforce development
- Consumer participation
- A welcoming and accessible organisation
- Disclosure and documentation, and
- Culturally safe and acceptable services.
The program involves a series of 4 training sessions, 6-8 weeks apart to coach participants through practical steps in embedding LGBTIQ inclusive practice in their organisation.
Over the course of the program, participants will develop, and begin to implement, a plan for inclusive practice specific to their organisation. Completion of the HOW2 can assist organisations to achieve (QIP) Rainbow Tick accreditation.

WANT TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS OR SERVICE?
Working It Out and SignPost are offering businesses and services the opportunity to list their services and to outline their credentials as an inclusive service for LGBTIQ+ population groups in Tasmania.
There is no cost to list your service, however, to ensure that SignPost is an active and up to date site we will require a 12 monthly listing check by your organisation. Listing on the directory is not a form of accreditation and does not require organisations to obtain specific LGBTIQ+ accreditation.
CONSULTATION SERVICES
WIO staff are available to consult on a range of policy, procedure and professional services/learning issues. Rates are $90-$120 per hour (GST exc).
