SUPPORT

Free, confidential in-person support sessions for individuals and their family/friends regarding sexuality, gender identity and/or innate variations of sex characteristics (i.e Intersex).

Sessions available in Burnie, Hobart and Launceston or by phone, online video or other methods by negotiation.

  • Individuals can also get support from a volunteer –Working It Out Together Program for anyone over 18- Click here.
  • LGBTI Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme for LGBTI elders with residential or home care packages.

Support for young people and/or their parents/guardians is provided through our Valuing Diversity Framework and LGBTIQA+ Schools Inclusion Officer.

We can assist with:

  • Working through issues and pathways
  • Liaising with schools, families and communities
  • Linking young people and their families to appropriate support mechanisms
