For all outdoor activities:

1. Please phone the activity leader/s with any questions about the activity and to let them know you’ll be attending. This is especially important when we’re meeting at different points so we don’t miss latecomers or if the meeting point is difficult to find or remote from Hobart.

2. Bring food and drink plus suitable gear (boots, raincoat, jumper, beanie, gloves and sun protection).

3. Please remember that if you take part in any of the walks or activities with the Wellington Wanderers you are responsible for your own safety. Wellington Wanderers cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, illness or loss occurring as a result of any group event or in connection with any travel to such event, however caused. By participating in activities, leaders and participants agree to prioritise their own and others’ safety at all times.

Health considerations

Stay at home if sick: please do not join activities if you have any respiratory or flu-like symptoms.

Keep your distance – wear masks when needed: You may be comfortable organising to share transport with others. You may feel safer wearing a mask if you are sharing a vehicle or are meeting indoors. You may feel safer wearing a mask when hugging. Some people like hugging, others don’t. Ask first.

Keep your hands clean: Please maintain good hygiene levels and bring and use your own hand sanitiser or wet wipes regularly.
