Shag Bay Walk, Geilston Bay

Meet: 10:30am Sarean Court carpark off Geilston Bay Road, 15mins drive from Hobart via A3 Tasman Highway and B32 East Derwent Highway to Geilston Bay.
Turn left into Dumbarton Drive, left into Geilston Bay Road and right into Sarean Court where there is limited parking.

Grade: Easy, 4km/2hrs return including lunchbreak.
The walk tracks close to the riverfront through open eucalyptus woodland with panoramic views of the river and Kunanyi, and includes sites of great significance to the Palawa community interpreted along takara limuna Sheoak Walk, as well as European historical relics including a quarry and boiler.
