Canoe Bay/Bivouac Bay Walk, Tasman Peninsula

Meet: 9:30am for carpooling in the carpark behind Rosny Library, CR Barnard Drive off Gordons Hill Road, before the 80mins/90km drive via Tasman Highway A3 to Sorell, then Arthur Highway A9 to Taranna, left onto Fortescue Bay Road.

Grade: Easy, 10km/3hrs return. Enjoy a coastline remote from roads and houses without walking a long distance but with one steepish hill near Bivouac Bay. The walk leaves from the squeaky white sands of Fortescue Bay. Get close-up views of sparkling waters and giant kelp forests, and maybe a seal or dolphins! A lovely walk even if you don’t do the hill.

Parks pass required.
