Free Database of Tasmanian LGBTIQA+ Inclusive Health Services

Working It Out has been building a database of Tasmanian health and allied health services who identify as being LGBTIQA+ inclusive.  For example services like counselling, gender affirming care, doctors, and dieticians.

How do I access the database?

You can access by contacting Peer Support Workers at WIO. This can be done by making an appointment through the WIO website https://www.workingitout.org.au/for-individuals/ or emailing info@workingitout.org.au.

How do I register as a health service?

Scan the QR code or follow the below link. This will provide access to a short survey that will help identify strengths and potential gaps in the services ability to support all members of the LGBTIQA+ community.

How do I provide feedback to a health service?

If you visit a registered health service and note areas where inclusive practice can be improved, let us know. We will contact the health service and explore how improvements can be made. Database@workingitout.org.au

A more inclusive health system for all.

This project has been funded by the Tasmanian Government. The aim is to increase awareness and access of LGBTIQA+ inclusive health services statewide, resulting in better health outcomes for the community.
